Summary: I have a quite nice onkyo receiver in my living room but my basement receiver (old Sony) recently broke down. I needed something to replace it that would be kind of future proof for when i upgrade my other components. This fit the bill perfectly. The sound quality is excellent and i haven't noticed anything wrong with the video. Has all the best encoders, etc.
Summary: This receiver prodices excellent sound. It has 1 hdmi output and 4 hdmi inputs which allows it to be connected to modern electronics. It has 4 buttons which can be configured so that you can switch between tv, radio. cd and bluray/dvd with just the push of a button. It is 3D ready and can output to 7 speakers. It just makes a gread addition to a home theater system.
Summary: Great receiver at a great price. Supports 3D TV via software upgrade and works perfectly with my Samsung C7000 series LCD. DVR, 3D Blu-Ray, Samsung LCD and AppleTV connected via HDMI through the 5760 receiver.

Summary: Yamaha has done it again! As usual with Yamaha the HTR 5760 produces clear sound. The 5760 offers 7.1 channel sound (the reason for my upgrade from the HTR 5560) and has a plethora of listening fields selectable for the appropriate use, music, game, movie (each of these has numerous options for each of these uses). It features a front input for A/V including an optical in. The receiver features composite inputs as well S-video and typical RCA connections.
