Audio Return and sound from Analog jacks

I have a Panasonic TC-P58VT25 connected to an HTR-5063 and want to get audio from the analog connections. Have been to Panny and have been advised to get a converter from optic audio to analog. $100 later and no joy. I have the Yamaha HDMI set to Control-ON, TV Audio in-AV4, Audio Return Chan - ON and resolution - *Thrgh. Still cannot get any output from the analog audio jacks. Can anyone help here? Thanks, Doug
