Avoid this model, flawed HDMI ports Broke twice in less then a year.

Summary: I bought this unit from Onecall (website not ebay) on 7/5/11, Since then I have had to send it to the Sony repair center twice. The HDMI ports stop working.I've had many Sony products in the past and never had issues till this model, I'm also not to happy with having to send it to Texas 5 months after it was repaired to repair it for the same issue.
Summary: I bought it on an Amazon GoldBox deal last year. It was cheap, had enough HDMI inputs, and was future-proofed for HDMI 1.4. After using it for about 15 months, here are my big complaints: - If you change the volume too quickly, the picture is lost. Let me emphasize this, because it seems unbelievable but is absolutely true: IF YOU CHANGE THE VOLUME TOO QUICKLY, THE DEVICE GETS CONFUSED AND STOPS TRANSMITTING. - Communication with my Sony TV is tenuous at best.
Summary: I've tried two of these STR-DN1010s. The first one had bad audio problems -- crunching, then would just quit. The second one would not pass the component video signals through, though the audio seemed to work for the 15 minutes I had it on. What's with Sony? I've been a Sony fan for a long time, but I am thinking Pioneer now...
