Summary: don't be mislead: "zone 2 capable" does not mean the unit can do it out of the box---furthermore, the hardware to make it "capable" of playing music in a second zone is a whopping 800+ dollars. what a joke.
Summary: We used this unit successfully for 14 months. HDMI switching was a nice feature as was dual zone speaker outputs. But, in the end, we got the famed Sony reliability. Why do I keep buying Sony crap? This things is DEAD. Makes the little "click" noise when you press the power button.
Sound and video is great but not intuitive (for HDMI components)

Summary: First, I'd like to say that after I got it working, it looks and sounds great. I don't even have the annoying lip-sync problem with some of my movies, now that I am running only HDMI for video and sound.
Summary: I am most dissapointed with this receiver claiming to output and upscale to up to 1080p, it is a lie. You cannot connect an old component 360 to this receiver and get anything other than a very poor image.
