Excerpt: The only issue with this amp for me is that the Pure Direct feature turns off after turning off the amp so you have to enable it each time you turn the amp on. Thought it sounded tinny in the beginning but after some adjustments it does perform nicely.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Power Output, Good Remote Control, Great Sound Quality
Excerpt: Used for TV, mainly so my 21 month old will play with this and not my system, which is much more expensive. Running the sony with Focal bookshelf's, sound is pretty good, but nearly all setting are menu-driven, which is okay for a TV setup. All in all, works well for my needs.
Excerpt: With everything from Blu-Ray players to cable boxes coming with HDMI outlet connections now we wanted a receiver that could handle all of them. This one does with enough HDMI inputs for our needs. The only quirky feature is the audio/video signal pass-through.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Good Remote Control, Great Sound Quality
Summary: It was the most practically priced decent brand of audio receiver that I found. For the price you pay versus the quality and functionality you get, it's a bargain. It was very easy to setup as well. Only took me about 10 minutes.
Excerpt: Plenty of inputs and outputs, but missing a simple RCA audio output -- have to use the HP jack for that. Speaker posts are close together, but workable. Easy to operate from the front or the remote. AM ant. connect is a inline pin connector which may not be available on your powered ant.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Power Output, Good Remote Control, Great Sound Quality
