• Cable video and audio signal dropout

  My cable box is connected to the STR DH510 through the HDMI input, but I'm having problems with the video and audio signals dropping out. This happens at least once a day. Is this a problem other people are having?

  Currently I have a non-HD tv (Sony wega)which has no HDMI connection points. For now (using this newer Sony receiver) can I still connect my current tv using rca connectors. Thank you.

• Optical Audio Cable

  I cannot get my optical audio cable to work. I have the cable and DVD player all connected to the TV. Then I have an optical audio cable from the TV to my receiver. Problem is no sound. I can hear sound through standard RCA audio cables but not through the optical audio cable. What's the deal?
