Summary: I bought this unit for one reason. I wanted to take the output from my computer music card and amplify the signal to five speakers in my shop room. The fact that it has a AM, FM tuner is a plus but it does not have a TV tuner, bummer! It is not equiped with RDS or RBDS for recognition of transmited station and artist information thorugh the radio signals. Even though the price seemed right the instruction book is hard to understand and follow.
Summary: EXCELLENT PRICE, SOUND QUALITY IS GREAT,SET UP IS EASY.YOU CAN HOOK UP 8 SPEAKER AND 1 SUBWOOFER. THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SOUND FIELDS HELPS ON SPECIFIC MOVIES. 110 WATTS WILL MAKE IT SOUND LIKE YOU ARE AT THE THEATER.
Summary: I received the product very quickly and was very satisfied with the quality. This was my first purchase on Ebay and was somewhat reluctant at first, but now very happy and relieved at the outcome. I now am using the speakers along with a receiver I also purchased on Ebay and enjoying my home theatre.
Summary: really good product with few exceptions. the speakers ( all 7) are not independently adjustable except electronicly not manual to atain the best sound for the room. also the balance for the speakers won't adj. elect. unless all 7 speakers are connected.
Summary: I bought this unit to update my sound system to the latest technology. My previous receiver was a Denon AV 2600 which was the better unit in the Denon line but it didn't have some of the newer features like HDMI, Dolby 7.1 etc. Now I have all this and I love it. I also liked the way BigBuy City handled the whole transaction. They are very professional.
Summary: This system is so simple to hook up. Especially since I have it all through my HDMI inputs and use that as a splitter so only one HDMI cable has to go to the television. The system is capable of so much that I actually have to find the time to read the manual so I can figure everything out. Great deal too from the seller!!!
Summary: I bought this receiver for its HDMI switching capability in my home theater room. Unfortunately, it didn't work out quite the way I had hoped. I wanted to be able to switch between my HDTV tuner and Sony Blu Ray Disc player and output to my front projection Sanyo projector. My projector only has a DVI input, so I used a HDMI to DVI cable for the connection between the receiver's HDMI output and the projector's DVI input.
