Pros: It looked cool sitting on the stand
Cons: I have to expect I had an unusual experience. The day I hooked this receiver up all I got was mostly static. Summary: This product has everything I need & I mean EVERYTHING! I can run sound while watching movies through my better powered speakers bc this has HDMI inputs which I can switch around to using the remote control.
Summary: I got this AV Receiver as a replacement. It has plenty of power and sounds pretty good. It actually puts out more sound than the prior receiver. It was one of the cheapest I found but had more features than many higher priced models. Its good value for the cost.
Summary: The Pyle PT590AU 5.1 receiver is a good purchase for the price. One thing I did not realize when I bought the receiver was it contains an internal fan, which can be loud at times. But after a while, you get used to the sound.

Summary: I just received my pt590au, for the most part its cool but my unit doesn't have the SD/USB port.... Where they are suppose to be I'm lookin at at Pyle home logs. No ports.... Where ate the ports? Factory defect? Ur input is greatly appreciated.
Summary: Update 3/13/15: After three months it no longer works. Electronic buzzing even when all wires are disconnected. The sound quality and features are very good, but there is a fan inside that is always on.
Summary: Mine was dead on arrival; wouldn't power up. I also specifically ordered this receiver because the product description stated that it's 12.9" deep. It is in fact 14.5" and not going to fit inside the cabinet, which was the entire reason I ordered this particular item.
