Summary: The receiver worked for the first 15 months, however then the HDMI out stopped working. I search the Internet only to find out that this was a common problem affecting a number of the Pioneer receivers.
Summary: Fm reception is poor.could not tune in any of the stations i listen too.my old onkyo got them all.bass and tremble controls only work if you are using large speakers.the set up micrphone set my speakers as large and the subwoofer at 23 feet away.
Summary: I have had a great experience with Pioneer in the past with two separate receivers over a 20 year span. However, I have had nothing but problems with my A/V Receiver 822-K. I've owned it for the better part of the past year, and the quality in this product is very poor.
Summary: Within a month the speaker outputs failed... I sent it off to the factory authorized repair center and they fixed it (It cost me $30 to ship it there and back) and now 8 months in, the hdmi pass-through failed, so I can no longer use it with my tv.
Summary: alto this unit offers a lot for the hdmi folks there is little for analog owner with needs for audio outs for vcr's ,cassette recorders etc. I tried to contact Pioneer for suggestions and received no response. I WAS a long time pioneer customer, but no longer..... Walmart is excellent about returns.
