Summary: I just received this receiver I find it funny that people had trouble installing this system. First of all the setup will show up on your tv through HDMI you just have to be willing to follow directions. From the time I pulled this product out of the box it took me a little more than an hour and I was was watching Death Race with my Infinity Primus series surround sound. This receiver in conjunction with a full balanced infinity speaker set up will rock the house.
Summary: Fm reception is poor.could not tune in any of the stations i listen too.my old onkyo got them all.bass and tremble controls only work if you are using large speakers.the set up micrphone set my speakers as large and the subwoofer at 23 feet away. The sub is 6 feet and i have a matched system of 4 inch speakers. you cannot set the subwoofer at 120 which yamaha recommended to with their suwoofer.high pitched when playing cds.returning for credit.
Summary: this sounds great and has enough hdmi's if you have too many inputs. One design flaw: you can't rename inputs. I did have a problem where the hdmi's stopped working, but the issue has been noted online and there is a simple fix to reset the settings. The OSD is not pretty. The many sound modes are a bit of a pain to scroll through and there's not individual keys on the remote so you have to scroll. airplay audio works nicely.
Summary: Within a month the speaker outputs failed... I sent it off to the factory authorized repair center and they fixed it (It cost me $30 to ship it there and back) and now 8 months in, the hdmi pass-through failed, so I can no longer use it with my tv. At this point, I don't think I want to spend another $30 on a $200 unit that's already failed twice...chalk it up to the "dummy" tax.

Summary: Good receiver but it has issues were I don't hear any sound once in a while. It is good but no WIFI. It does have Ethernet so you will need to buy a wired to wireless adapter which only cost $20
Almost lightning proof and it sounds and looked great on my 60"

Summary: I loved it. Now I just like it. It did everything I wanted until it got hit by lightning. Now it only does one thing I wanted and that's play sound. Somehow every HDMI port got fried so I can't run video through it but when it wasn't struck down from above it worked great and it still sounds great. I can't fault Pioneer for the lightning. It fried 2 TV's and a bunch of computers and none of that stuff worked at all after so that says something for Pioneer!
Summary: I had an old KLM receiver that finally went out. With some research and review reading, I purchased this Pioneer receiver. Easy set up. Plenty of hook-ups on the back. Connected my Blu-ray player and floor speakers. Sounds great. A very good replacement. The surround sound has a echoic affect to it, but switch it to stereo and its perfect. Excellent for movie watchers who have big screen TV's. Along with my sound bar, it like in a theater.
I like it for more reasons than I have the time ...

Summary: I like it for more reasons than I have the time to go into. Does everything I wanted, sounds really good to great; have it connected to NHT speakers in a 5.1 configuration. Bought to replace a SONY that one day just quit - TV is a HD Panasonic 55" Plasma, have a ROKU, use the Pandora feature in the Pioneer. All in all very happy with the brand and purchase.
Summary: I needed a reasonably price receiver to power my outdoor speakers. I wanted a receiver that had Pandora and was made for IPod. There was one update that I needed to install using the USB port so I could connect with Pandora. It was easy to do if you go to the Pioneer website. I am very happy with the purchase. I am giving it a 5 based on price, value and meeting my needs. Price was actually better here than on Amazon.
