Summary: I received My Unit Packaged Well Enough to splash Down In the Ocean like our old Space Capsules! No Damage! It is My First experience with Surround sound (Getting Old) the last Pioneer Unit I would dare to Compare it to would Would be My Old SX 1080 from the Military PX store! Had I know its Value would Only Increase I would Not have Given it away! The 1080 controls were Much Easier of Course! Best Of times No Home PCs Yet!
For the money being a a couple year old Its a very good deal like pioneer.

Summary: This unit is awesome!! Pioneer has allways been a personal favorite of mine for audio units, from mobile to home, but i have to say, this unit really impressed me with it's superb sound quality. Out of box was pretty nice , however after using the included microphone for sound setting & tuning, all i can say is wow!
High end power and processing at an entry level price

Summary: This review is based on about one month's experience with the receiver. I reluctantly replaced my Denon 3801 with this receiver. The Denon had served me well for 10 years and was still workking like new. However, it had no HDMI connections. The Pioneer Elite has very impressive clean power and great signal processing capabilities. I'm an old guy and it took me a while to set up the new receiver. More technologically oriented folks won't have a problem.
Summary: This is a great receiver I have ever owned. It has all basic features I needs like HDMI, switchable 1080p, auto surround sound calibration. The clean sound free of distortion is my reason to get this baby.
Summary: It pretty much does everything I hoped it would do. It actually has more features than I need, but at least they are there when I need them. One thing I don't like about it is when you route an analog source through the receiver, it shows up on the tv as a square picture and I have an LED. Other than that I really don't have any other problems.
Summary: Impressive how much progress electronics have made these recent years. No need anymore to buy the "Elite" series to get excellent noise and distortion free sound. I have a set of demanding Cabasse speakers connected to the receive and they sound just great. The only negative is the volume dial which feels "mushy" and low quality plastic. Otherwise happy in all aspects of the system.
Summary: I have had the VSX-92TXH elite Home Theater A/V Receiver for several months. I bought it so I could use the new HDMI cables to connect my HDMI TV, my Comcast Dual Tuner Converter Box, my LG DVD/VCR Recorder, and some other machines to my Sony sound system. We enjoy listening to movies through our Sony Stereo Speakers.
