Summary: I prefer Pioneer products, and this receiver will last me a long time. The quality is very nice, and the price was attractive. I'm glad I could find just what I wanted to accompany my Pioneer 301-Disc CD-File Changer. I would recommend this product highly to anyone.
Summary: To be honest I bought the receiver because the price was too good to be true, but I had my doubts regarding the power output but at that time I did not care. When I received it I connected 2 JBL L820 for the front, for center speaker sometimes i connect a cerwin vega VE5-c and some other a LC2 JBL, for rear the bose 251 Environmental Speakers because I used it also for my patio and a Cerwin-Vega XLS-12S subwoofer, for input PS3, and for playing my itunes music via wifi I...
Summary: I've had this a couple of years now and I am not sorry I bought it. The price was low and it was rated well by users. Only 5.1 surround but that's more than I need. I don't even use my sub any more. We mostly use the radio.
Summary: This has been a great receiver for me. Easy to use, provides great sound and looks good with the glossy finish. 3 HDMI ports is plenty for me and 5.1 sound is great for a small living room or bedroom. No complaints and used it for a year almost.
Summary: My aging (30 years old) Philips stereo finally gave up the ghost. I had been looking around for a replacement and found this Pioneer on Amazon.com -- talk about an excellent price! This receiver has all the features I need and decent power as well. So far I have connected the TV set-top box, Panasonic dvd recorder, and my Magnavox blu ray player.
Summary: Just hooked this up to a boston accoustics 5.1 speaker system. sounds awesome. The sub fills the whole room and I literally felt the gunshots when watching dark knight. great for a college dorm room, even the bigger suite sized room. awesome buy. Just make sure you know how to set it up and youre fine.
