Summary: I prefer Pioneer products, and this receiver will last me a long time. The quality is very nice, and the price was attractive. I'm glad I could find just what I wanted to accompany my Pioneer 301-Disc CD-File Changer. I would recommend this product highly to anyone.
Summary: To be honest I bought the receiver because the price was too good to be true, but I had my doubts regarding the power output but at that time I did not care. When I received it I connected 2 JBL L820 for the front, for center speaker sometimes i connect a cerwin vega VE5-c and some other a LC2 JBL, for rear the bose 251 Environmental Speakers because I used it also for my patio and a Cerwin-Vega XLS-12S subwoofer, for input PS3, and for playing my itunes music via wifi I...
Summary: THIS ONE OF PIONEER'S LEAST KNOWN RECEIVER. I BOUGHT ONE FOR MY BEDROOM. IT MORE THAN DID IT'S JOB. IT ACTUALLY IS BETTER FOR A HOME THEATER SETTING. LIVING ROOM, DEN, MAN CAVE. EVEN A GARAGE. IT HAS A FAIR AMOUNT OF HDMI HOOK UPS TO ENJOY. I SOLD MINE AND UP GRADED BUT BELEIVE ME IT'S WORTH THE PRICE LISTED ON EBAY.
Summary: After using Pioneer audio equipment for thirty years I have finally found one that is a total dud. This one is designed so if you don't have the remote then you can't make necessary settings to use it. The performance has not met my expectations so I am going to replace a two year old A/V receiver with another brand. As the Pioneer rep said "If you find the remote give us a call.
Summary: Very confusing manual and operation. The advertising claimed it has phono input - not true. Does not have equalizer input/output, you're stuck with iffy treble and bass only. When buying amplifiers do your research.
