Summary: Good receiver, has a lot of options and setups. Changing the level of the speakers is a pain in the ass after setting it.. You have to do it the fizz test way so if you are in the middle of something you have to stop and do the whole shabang.. the treble and bass options are not easily accessed.. remote is completely unlit small little buttons.. I like my remotes a little more simple where needed.
Summary: Overall build quality was not too bad. Nice front plate, easy to hookup and assign digital and optical inputs. It could use some additional cooling vents. Pros: 110 wpc, easy to setup, produces very nice sound. LFE pre-out for the subwoofer. Cons: My unit overheated 3 times. The first time, it cost me a $110 tweeter in a Polk center and the center channel solder melted. It was repaired under warranty, but overheated again and lost the front left and center again.
Summary: I recently purchased a slighly used one on eBay. It has excellent sound quality and a plethora of settings to choose from. Pros: digital Audio inputs. Multiple Presets SW out [sub woofer preamp] Cons: SW is on by default and as such, no bass is sent to the front speakers until you set it to off. This is OK if you have a SW connected, not so much if you don't.
Summary: I was kinda leanning on not buying it cause it was refurbish, but I thought I'll give it a try. So far so good. This is the first time I ever bought any electronic item throuh the net. It will not be the last.
