Summary: I puchased one of these in November of 2012. I have to say, i was impressed with it at the time of purchase. Had everything I could have asked for and I loved it. Over time, (right after the warranty expired), the nework functions started acting up, eventually failing.
Summary: I got 9 months out of this receiver before it made a pop sound in the front speakers at power up and shut down for good. Seems to be some common issue with the CPU or the power-up/stand-by circuitry from what I could find out.
Summary: I bought this in March of 2013. It worked great for about 4 months and then I had an issue with the right front speaker output that made my speaker make a high pitch whining noise that is unbearable. I had to disconnect that speaker.
Summary: Worked well for 10 months...few click noises and now NO POWER at all. Many recent reviews indicate similar problem even sooner in "life" of product. Ridiculous quality...will definitely look for another brand. What happened to you, Pioneer?
Summary: I was slow to get with the HDMI all in one receivers, having just gone with sound bars, and pluggin into " Home Entertainment systems". But with Blu-Ray, Xbox 360, DVD, wanted something with more output, and reduce HDMI inputs needed on TV.
Summary: Easy set-up right out of the box. Very useful if you have apple devices that utilize AirPlay, as it is built right into this device. Channels A and B make it nice for multi-room use or indoor/outdoor listening. Customizable speaker configurations with tons of pre-set listening modes to chose from.
Summary: great receiver. I've had Pioneer equipment for years now, and this unit was not a disappointment. The firmware update was simple and easy. I like having Pandora, and internet radio. for the money, you cant beat Pioneer! Sound Quality!
