Summary: DON'T BUY, Pioneer equipments are notorious of Failing so fast, this unit lasted only 13 Month. My network card got shot and now the unit will not work anymore. it will cost about $200 to repair. I am just trashing the unit. Read other reviews and Forums, and you will find out what I am talking about. this is my second and Last Pioneer I will ever buy.
Summary: I bought this product a little over a year ago. The receiver started making a popping noise through the speakers. I took it to a Pioneer service provider and found out that the digital main assembly had gone bad which is twice as much to repair and paid for the unit. I called Pioneer and they would not stand behind their product. I really liked this receiver before the problem so I found it very disappointing. Don't buy their product!!! They won't stand behind it!!!
MCACC Light Flashing and the receiver needs to be reset every time

Summary: I bought this receiver because the IOS app and Airplay. But after a few months using it the receiver stops working and the MCACC light flashes, learned through a google search that you can HARD RESET the unit pressing Zone on/off and Preset Down buttons a wait 5 secs. But I have to do it everyday when I turn on the Receiver. Excellent implementation of the IOS integration but bad quality product.
Summary: Unit completely brain dead with MCACC red light blinking the only sign of life 31 days after end of 1 year warranty. Seems to be a common problem with this unit when a component fails internally. Powers up, but nothing else. Brain dead. Estimate to repair exceeds 50% cost of replacement. Buyer beware. I have two bad experiences now with shoddy equipment from Pioneer. A shame.
Summary: I purchased this unit on 01/12/12 and didn't get around to setting it up with all the surround sound and new sharp tv till March. The unit worked great till late December when the amp blew. Lucky for me it was still under warranty by three weeks. I called Pioneer and they told me that the closes authorized pioneer service center was in San Antonio, 250 miles away.

Summary: Went threw two of these within several months, awesome when it worked but consistently got an error code that would not clear and while Amazon was very helpful with the first return, only getting 80 percent back for 2nd dud unit.
