Not a Bad A/V Receiver... Better ones available in it's price range.
16 July 2012
Summary: The cons listed might be cons that most A/V recievers have in this price range. However, the primary difference is lack of Sub EQ, something Audyssey (XT32) equipt receivers have in spades. In hindsignt I would have purchased the Denon 4311CI which has all of the features of the Pioneer with addition to Bass Management.
Pros: Ample Power, Killer Android App
Cons: Cannot watch HDMI in seperate Zones (Matrix Switching), Lack of SubEQ
Summary: Length:: 2:43 Mins the SC-57 is a solid product. It should have bluetooth and wireless built in but besides that I am having a great time with mine. Airplay and its awesome apple integration are super.
Summary: One person's complaint is another's high point. Pioneer Elite refuses warranties from online-purchased product for a very good reason. If you need set-up help, who are you going to call? If you need service, where are you going to go? If you need advice on what to match up with your new receiver, who are you going to ask? The online dealer? Yeah, right. They are a faceless entity that is selling only on low cost, with no interest in service.
