Worked Fine for 15 months, then ICE amp failed and Pioneer Refused to Honor 2 year Warrantee; Big Value is unresponsive

Summary: So I was happy with the unit while it worked. Before purchasing it from Big Value, I carefully read its statement "Big Value Inc prides itself in selling all Brand New, USA merchandise with Full USA Manufacturer Warranty". Don't believe it. Unit has now failed and will cost ~$350 to fix. Although it is within the 2 year stated warrantee period, the manufacturer is refusing to honor the warranty.
Summary: Like a few others here, I purchased this receiver not knowing that I was purchasing this item from a non-authorized Pioneer dealer. After only 3 weeks, I got the 'Blue Light of Death'. Pioneer customer service is terrible, mainly consisting of service representatives with snotty attitudes and offering no concern for my problem. They quickly rushed me off the phone and I was told to contact Big Value, Inc. for warranty repair. Upon contacting Big Value, Inc.
