Summary: I have been a pioneer fan for 35 years this receive is as good as any that I have owned and better , I love this receiver , The Ipod hookup is great , and the 140 watts sound real clean . I am very happy with this buy .

Summary: This receiver is the best thing going for its street prices. I have owned Denon , B&K ,Onkyo and Harmon Kardon receivers over the past 10 years and none of them had the soundstaging ability that the sc 35 has especially in width.

Summary: The SC-35 A\V receiver from Pioneer's Elite line is a 2010 model. My unit is stamped Sept 2010 as date of manufacture. Since purchasing it on 2-Sept-2011 I've had four days to familiarize myself with many features, interfaces, and capabilities such as audio, video and interconnects.
Summary: For starters, if you are undecided on what to get, this item is deeply discounted because it is last year's model and who knows how many more are available. The Pioneer website shows only the current year models but really not much different from this one.
