Summary: This is impressive and I believe to have been a good buy at $499. It being a FORMIDABLE task, I haven't replaced one of my Sony STR 33 ES units with this yet so I can't give an assessment of this at this point. If possible I will update after running it for awhile.
Summary: Should have done my homework - the same product is cheaper here in Singapore and I wouldn't need to buy a 110-220 voltage transformer. Other than that, the AV receiver looks good, sounds good and provides a good number of options to set up and configure.
great sound but not completely future proof for 4k video

Summary: this is great product and produces and awesome sound. Also this amplifier saved a lot of electricity which is great plus. Unfortunately I had to return it as production description for 4K video didn't mention that 50p/60p isn't supported.
Summary: The unit I received was damaged way more than I expected. Scratches and blemishes I could have dealt with. However the front face plate was partially off and dented, the whole unit would not sit level, and the USB port did not work. So it got returned, and amazon was great about it.
decent receiver, nothing that blows my mind.. it does what it's supposed to.

Summary: got it on sale over the holidays, have it with a basic speaker setup and waiting to add better.. i like that it has two sub inputs so already have two subwoofers on order. would have maybe liked the next higher version of this for a bit more power, but that one wasn't on sale at the time and is not...
Summary: UPDATE, Jan 26 (about two weeks with replacement): Okay, the first receiver was indeed faulty. The new one is indeed reliable. On the other hand, I've gotta say - many of the problems I pointed out in my initial review still apply: the remote is still bipolar (and consequently the Harmony is also...
