Fantastic for its price ... and for twice the price

Summary: The Pioneer Elite A-20 in the Direct mode and with volume control set at 12 o’clock, at the 12ft listening distance fully fills my 20 x 13 ft room with complete clarity, great dynamics, and spectral balance, no audible distortion, and surprisingly wide soundstage, via AudioQuest’s Go-4 cabling,...
Summary: Bought this so I could use my (husband's) old Pioneer turntable to play our vinyl collection, and am very pleased with the sound, simplicity, and also ability to run other components through it to speakers (CD/computer, DVD, TV, iPad for Pandora).
I am surprised and very happy with the performance of the Pioneer

Summary: Bought this Pioneer as a 'temporary' amp. Driving KEF LS-50's and alternately Gallo Classico 4's. I am surprised and very happy with the performance of the Pioneer, and , as yet, haven't felt the driving urge to spend thousands upgrading.
Not nearly enough power for even average applications.

Summary: I was using this to power some Definitive Technology BP10 speakers (which are ver efficient and can be driven with small amounts of power). But this little Pioneer couldn't do the trick. To get life-like playback I had to crank the volume up to 75%. And I don't have a large listening room.
Summary: Pioneer . . . what memories that name brings back. I started off my music listening life with a little AM transistor radio and a little white earplug. As I was growing up, I moved up to bigger radios with FM bands, as well as a groovy one shaped like a love medallion that you wore around your neck!
Tons of Inputs on this simple 2-Channel Stereo Amplifier

Summary: I received the Pioneer Elite A-20 as a free review sample piece. It is an impressive piece of hardware, overkill for many who need a simple stereo amplifier. It does have a ton of analog RCA input sources, with three different output options: 1.
Summary: Compared to my old amp, the A20 lacks bass definition and is too bright, which makes it rather tiring to listen too. Wish I had bought something warmer. Will let Richer's famed customer service try to sort me out. Very pleased with the TEAC 1260 CD, cables etc bought at the same time.
