Summary: Just replaced my 14 year ADCOM preamp with this unit and It's made a huge improvement regarding the sound coming form my Eminent Technology LFT-8 loud speakers. Summary: Very pleased with this product. Rated four stars only because of minor changes that would make it perfect. It would be nice if the sub level control could be adjusted from the remote. I think that could be worked in at this price point.
Summary: This is a fantastic preamp for the price. It has gotten great reviews on audiophile sites and I can give it an excellent review. This preamp replaced an old Carver C-11 and the difference in sound was nothing short of fantastic. It has a dedicated subwoofer output and sub EQ.
Summary: Really like this preamp. I replaced my old Carver with another preamp that shall remain nameless and was very disappointed. I just happened to see some reviews on the Parasound and decided to take a chance. This one is far superior to the last one.
Summary: The Parasound 2100 is a very solid unit, Use this in a 2.2 music system, with a pair of Outlaw 2200 mono amplifiers, a pair of Magnepan MMG speakers ,a pair of SVS PB1000 subwoofers, the total cost was only 2700!!!
Summary: I purchased this pre-amp a few years ago in attempt to simplify my setup since I had/have no need for video switching. I'm an old-school guy who's running 2/3-channel monoblocks. My previous pre-amp was similar, it was a Marantz AV-600 which is well known for its very high-quality 2/3-channel sound.
