Summary: I just received it today, and will be returning it tomorrow. Here's what I found: 1) On my unit, switching channels, pausing a program, or switching unputs caused my TV to lose the HDMI signal for 2-3 seconds. When the original source was digital or component video, the screen would just be black during this time, but on analog inputs the screen would go bright green, then flash between green & the analog data for a second before finally becoming stable.
Summary: I had the exact same experience as one of the reviewers below. Hooked up several different video sources and ran and HDMI cable to my Pioneer plasma television. The first problem I had was an annoying hum from all speakers. After trying many debug options I finally debugged it to the HDMI connection. With HDMI connected (several different cables) the hum was there, without it no hum. In addition I had the same video problem listed before as well.
