Summary: Really disappointed given the price that the unit only held up 2 and a half years.
Pros: Decent price. Lots of HDMI connections. Decent A/V quality.
Cons: My unit gave out on me this week. The unit will not power on, instead just cycle through a clicking noise over and over again. I called Onkyo support and it has to serviced to be resolved. I am unable to remove it from safe mode. Disappointed given the price that the unit has to be serviced in ju...
Summary: We bought this model in Dec. 2009. Three months ago, we experience an video issue that pictures black out intermittently no matter from DVD, BD, or satterlite player. The audio also sometimes is broken up.
Summary: Out of box only one (#3) of five HDMI inputs work. It is a defective product. Unfortunately because i did not install immediately due to anticipated move and a new TV and couple of new speakers. Onkyo has the worst custoemr service I've experienced, they refused to pay service shipping.
Summary: We didn't have time to open the new Onkyo TX-SR670 receiver until after the return period---big mistake. From the beginning it has had major problems keeping a signal. To watch a DVD we have to keep the controller in hand to keep moving off the signal it has lost and then switch back in order to...

Summary: We live in the Sonoran Desert in Phoenix Arizona with a freestanding ONKYO 607 near my piano/not in a rack or in any way obstructed. Unit is kept within temperature ranges outlined by ONKYO, but even after factory repair my unit repeatedly fails.
Summary: We bought this receiver about 2 years ago. Now it is having trouble reading the hdmi signal from the playstation 3. We thought it was an issue with the playstation first, and returned it to sony twice for repair and they couldn't find anything wrong with it.
Summary: I absolutely loved this receiver when I first got it. It worked perfect and did everything that I asked of it. The way I had it set up was to run my 5.1 theatre off of the main amp and then had it connected to a speaker selector off of zone 2. This worked great for about three months.
Cons: ONKYO is NOT a good brand... Doesn't sound that good...Go for JBL speakers....and/or Pioneer... ( Just to name a few) Believe me.. I've watched movies, not very good sound, music doesn't sound good, even if you have the best cables hooked up
Cons: I planned to use to listen to FM radio only, no tv video. Connected speakers, plugged in the electric cord and turned on the power. The display came on showing volume at 25 but the receiver clicked and turned off in about 3 seconds. The red standby alert then began to blink. I tried turning on a ...
