• Video Issues

  Onkyo seem to be having issues with HDMI video switching. Up conversion of othe signals shuts off, On Screen Menu will not work and even HDMI from 1080p sources will not work. Anyone know what the cause is??? Seems to affect 605/606/607 receivers

• Video Switching

  When TV broadcast is in HD, the Plasma screen switches off all the time and tries to rteset to 576p. This is suposed to be 1080p capable. Any idea what's wrong ?

  The problems sounds to be within the HD tuner. Most Tuners will allow for a internal up-conversion to a specific format. This prevents your display from getting jumpy when the signal changes. Cons are your not watching the broadcast as it was intended. For the sake of argument change the output on your HD Tuner to 1080p(i) and see what happens
