Excerpt: With all of today’s high definition components, you need equipment that can handle it all. The Onkyo TX-SR605 Reciver does just that, handles it all! Delivering exceptional audio and video performance, the Onkyo receiver will take your breath away.
Summary: This is a great receiver. Although it only has 2 hdmi ports. Since I have multiple devices I should have gone with a unit that has 2 hdmi ports. Other than that I enjoy the receiver very much.
Summary: So far it works very well. Better than my newer Demon unit that was sent back for repair. The sound is just as good as the Demon unit with better features available. The only down side I have experienced is that any change of listening modes is not displayed on my TV.
Summary: Overall the reciever work well. I upgraded from a 25 year old reciever so I would have the hdmi connections, ect. I also wanted to have a second zone to listen to music in, this unit has that feature, so we can still listen to the stereo in the sun room without needing anothe full system.

Summary: Eu não posso opinar a respeito. Não consigui concluir a compra devido a não oferta de envio internacional e estou tendo problemas para cancelar a compra pois dependo do vendedor que ainda não fez o pedido de cancelamento da parte dele. Espero que dê tudo certo.
Summary: I've had this receiver for a couple of years now and it's worked very well. I knew about its limitations prior to purchasing so they don't bother me (e.g. only 2 HDMI inputs). Sound quality is quite good with plenty of volume to fill my 20x20 theater room. My only complaint is that the IR remote receiver is extremely weak. I often work-out well off to the side of my AV equipment which means my remote is sending at a pretty extreme angle.
Summary: I purchased the Onkyo TX SR605 7.1 channel receiver to replace the Onkyo TX SR504 that i still have to sell if someone want's for a starter receiver, in excellent shape. The Onkyo 605 is a great receiver that i love with HDMI switching for my Visio 42" TV, Blue ray DVD player, cable box and high-end speakers X 7 plus powered sub. Fantastic sound unsurpassed by others. Highly recommend it to any one who ,when hooked up right is the BEST!!
Summary: Plenty of inputs, except for phono. If you have a conventional turntable, you will need a pre-amp. Involved set-up, but not diffficult. Good sound. I am using the A/V receiver with a blu-ray player, cd player and tape deck. The unit is set-up for 7.1 surround sound, but I have set it up as a 6.1 system due to my room configuration. Good remote.
