Summary: Garbage, receiver blew its logic board, or sound board and Onkyo wanted almost 200 bucks to repair it then shipping it back and forth at my expense. Look elsewhere for a better receiver or buy in store so when this companies garbage breaks on you you can return it or claim the warranty in the store...
Summary: Had an issue with the receiver shutting down after 5 seconds. Sent it in to the dealer for a fix. When it came back, that issue was fixed, but one of the outputs for the speakers is now jacked up. Not very happy with this unit.
Summary: Replaced an older model receiver; had the AV digital plugs, HDMI, and BD/DVD channel to connect all the various tvs, players, etc., that were being used. Remote control works from a distance across the room, crisp, clear sounds via higher-end HDMI cabling.
Summary: Sometimes it turns on, sometimes it won't turn on. Sometimes the audio works, sometimes the audio does not work. The product is great when it works. The problem is I never know when that will be.
Summary: I own one of those for 3 years and just had the opportunity to order another for just under $200, shipped... can't beat that, as (if you read and try to understand the words printed in the manual), it can be set up to work perfectly!!!
