not very happy!

crhistian montenegro, Amazon
29 March 2014
  • Summary: Onkio has been a great brand, no doubt about it! But also the great things have defects. Service center in Huntington Beach CA. The guy who is there is not very friendly. 2 of the channels had no sound. When I call this guy couldn't help me much. Onkio should have more service centers at los angeles ca.

Disappointing. Get a Yamaha or Denon

Meng Qi, Amazon
10 March 2014
  • Summary: Upgraded from a Denon X2000 and this receiver was very disappointing. I have JBL L890 speakers and SVS PB-1000 subwoofer. (1) Bluetooth does not work. It connects but the sound goes on and off. (2) It has slightly more watts than the Denon, but does not sound as pure. A lot of details are mashed up together and bass is not crisp. (3) There is no full range stereo mode. (4) The menu system is not as responsive and intuitive as Yamaha or Denon.

Not an upgrade of its predecessor

ANDREA RAVAIOLI, Amazon
10 October 2013
  • Summary: I am a former owner of a TX-NR818. I have received this newer model, TX-NR828, in replacement of my old unit which could not be fixed. When it worked, it worked great I have to say (you can check my review). This did not turn out to be good thing because, based on specifications, the 828 model is an obvious downgrade of the 818 (in general it appears to be the case of the whole 2013 line of receivers when compared to their 2012 predecessors).

Design und Qualität Top - Software leider ein Flop

Schurri, Amazon
4 April 2014

TX-NR 818 vs. TX-NR 828

Oliver Stein, Amazon
3 June 2013
  • Summary: Hallo, ich muss meinem Vorredner zustimmen.
