Summary: This receiver is great insofar as sound reproduction, it tends to run pretty hot; very, very hot. I gave it two stars because about 24 months after I purchased it the sound stopped working, completely. I checked online and found others who had the same problem, sound mysteriously just stopped.
Summary: I bought this unit after reading reviews of several units in the same price range that had the features I needed. So far, it has worked well. The included remote has replaced seven other remotes that I have, including a learning 'smart' remote (Philips Prestigo SRU8008).

I would have given it 4.5 stars if that was option but it wasn't, and I can't give 5 as that would imply it's perfect, but nothing is, as far as my...
Summary: what can i say? got it, hooked everything up, turned it on and it sounded awesome. i have a samsung led and the anynet+ allows me to turn off the tv and have the receiver turn off as well. thats nice. also when i switch to the samsung apps the receiver switches the inputs automatically.
Summary: It was time to replace my older Onkyo unit with a new receiver to decode the new blueray formats. Of course I had to look at Onkyo but I also looked at Marantz. I agonized for months to decide...Marantz music quality vs.
