Summary: Worked great for a year then started with no sound when first starting. Frustrating - contacted Onkyousa and they said they would pay for a repair as it was only 30 days outside a 1 year warranty! had to drive it 200 miles south into Mass where they kept it for almost 2 months - sent it back to me and reinstalled it and it worked fine for about 30 days when it started the same thing again! Have to turn it off and on a couple of times to get the sound working!
Summary: When my receiver was working I couldn't have been happier. Great sound, smooth, crisp tones, power enough for my Polk speakers. Then the music died. There was absolutely no sound. It turned on, the lights worked, the buttons changed the settings, but no sound. I reset everything back to factory original settings, still no sound. I took off the cover, nope, nothing was amiss. Next time I buy, I will make sure I have an extended warranty.
Summary: Not too impressed with the performance in that I don't know that this would have really done anything that much better than a less expensive receiver from Pioneer. Yeah, the name, the specs, the prestige of owning high end stuff...etc. I own the expensive NR5007, and do have some quite noticeable "poping and delays" when watching TV, quite irritable. Does put out a significant amount of heat, enough to raise the room temperature within 10feet of it by a degree or two.
Tolles Gerät - wenn nicht HDMI Board defekt vorprogrammiert wäre
