Summary: I replaced an older model that would shut off intermittently but had more features than the new one which does not have AC outlets on back or a connection for fans that was also on old model .
Really good for 11 months. Now power won't turn on.

Summary: I love the sound and everything else about this receiver except the fact that after 11 months it won't power on anymore. Now I have to start the process of getting it fixed/replaced. Dang this thing is heavy.
Summary: I like it! Excellent sound field that is much better that the Denon 2113CI that it replaced for music. A deeper unit which barely fit into my entertainment cabinet. Currently running a 7.1 system with the back 4 speakers in-ceiling.
Summary: The Good: Let me start by saying that this receiver sounds amazing. The multiple zone feature is exactly what I needed for my home. I have the main zone set up as a 5-1 surround sound, the second zone in my family room and the third in my patio. The system works as promised.
Summary: Has everything I needed and sounds very well. Only thing is they should hugely improve the Android and IOS apps. They are way behind their competitor here. Spotify's user interface is very disappointing as well, there are no Spotify radios and the search function is horrible.
Summary: This was purchased as a replacement for Marantz NR1501 Overall, I am pleased with it. I bought it for Audyssey XT32. It is a improvement over MultEQ. How much is hard to guess. Maybe 30% ?? The new sound modes are quite impressive.
Pros: Sound quality. Audyssey XT32. New sound modes.
Cons: Too many buttons on the remote. Selection method for the various sound modes. Value for money spent. No printed manual. No ability to do updates via flash memory & the USB port. Style or appearance. Size, does it really need to be this big?
