Summary: I purchased the NR 1604 Network AV receiver last month from Amazon to go with my Polk RTi4 bookshelf speakers (on stands) and Polk DSW PRO 440wi Subwoofer which is part of our home theater system. My main concern was good quality sound as listening to music is what I do mostly with the setup.
Summary: I have had the receiver for over 3 months. Shortly after the return window, audio began dropping out while watching tv and using Apple TV. Cable is connected through component and apple through hdmi. The receiver must be turned off then on to get audio back.

Summary: Small, well designed, easy to install, great sound. A common complain is that it is not as powerful as others in the same category, but for my large leaving room in an apartment building is plenty. Audio streaming works great, I have not succeeded in making the video streaming work.

Thankfully this NR1604 receiver has an on-screen setup assistant which made this much easier than I expected.
