Summary: I have always been a fan of JVC. They always manage to squeeze an amazing number of features per dollar into their products. This unit is no exception. The "Compu-Link" feature is a great feature for those of us with other JVC components. It makes the entire system function like one unit. The sound quality is excellent for this price range. However, I noticed the volume needs to be set relatively high to get decent sound from my speakers.
Summary: I bought this receiver when I was in the U.S. from ... for whatI think was a great buy at ($) that includes shipping and handling to Holiday Inn Express in Belmont where I was staying. It came in a huge box full of protective styrofoam. Inside it revealed the JVC box containing the RX-7000VBK (plus accessories) that requires 110V input (not auto-voltage, nor does it have a voltage switch which is important to me since the Philippines is 220V).
Summary: The JVC RX-7000 has the state-of-the-art in surround sound processing with built-in Dolby Digital and DTS decoding. Several additional surround sound options are provided, including digitally processed Dolby Pro-Logic surround, 3-D Phonic (Virtual Dolby), and a Digital Acoustics Processor with 5 preset sound fields. Enjoy the most spectacular theater sound at home when you view movies on DVD. JVC RX7000 Features - Multi Color OSD Text CompuLink!...110 watts x 2 min.
Summary: Quit searching because this is what you want. I bought this receiver to replace my parents old 1978 jvc sterio receiver. Now dont get me wrong, it still worked perfect and everything, but it was two channel, and i needed more than that. JVC is my all time favorite brand for sterio equipment. I must say that i like KLH for speakers....good sound, great price. Anyways, this receiver has everything you'll ever need. Digital, remote, power, channels, compu-link.
Summary: I have this receiver in a secondary media room (what I have in the main is far too formidable & expensive to get into), and the performance for the dollar is extraordinary...If you utilize the "compulink" interlink from JVC to other JVC components as I did, you will enjoy incredible quality as well as unsurpassed (at any price) convenience. As always with a modest priced receiver such as this, you MUST use a powered subwoofer.
Summary: Well, I didn't buy this item, but my parents did, and as I still live with them... I thought it wouldn't be bad if I reviewed this great receiver. Taking a better look at it's tech specs you'll see that it isn't _any_ receiver, it's a good one (in my opinion the best):) Three months ago I bought a 6 speaker system and I was using my old amplifier :( The sound wasn't satisfactory at all, so I decided to buy a newer receiver, such as the JVC RX-7000 VBK.The fact that I...
