This thing is Beast! I absolutely love it! Is that 100 words? Okay, its not..... This thing is Beast! I absolutely love it!
Summary: This AVR has a ton of power. I bought a HK AVR about 15 years ago and never had a problem with it however it was time to up grade. I have heard a ton of good things about Yamaha and thought I would give them a shot. I bought the top of the line flag ship Yamaha and could not wait to get it hooked up. What a disappointment. My speakers had no bass at all. In fact I blew my first speaker EVER trying to crank it up just to make it sound like my 15 year old HK AVR 25II.
Summary: i have owned sony, onkyo, denon receivers, and the 7300 kicks butt looks amazing , sounds crispy clear , and deep bass.i will never get rid of this receiver, i love it its very heavy, its suppose to be if you want some power! no complains, if i die, i will take it with me!
Summary: This is the mother-ship of all things stereophonic. It is the best sounding receiver I have ever owned. My use is more for digital audio(dolby digital, etc.) and music than video, but it has excellent video technology as well. On screen displays allow you to navigate through set up as easily as possible. The learning curve is pretty steep, because the amp does so much, but once you get it down, its not too bad.
Summary: The 7300 was suggested by a friend to be a good receiver to use for a home theater setup. I have not gotten deep into the tuning of the receiver, but teamed up with the Cerwin-Vega speakers, I have yet to be disappointed in any way. It is a lot easier to tune when you use the On-Screen-Display and have the menu of choices displayed on the TV. I started out by doing a general setup of the speakers and was really pissed at first that everything sounded horrible.
Summary: The 7300 is full of options all the bells, Over all for a single unit it is one of the best on the market today in the $1000.00 price range. I have had a small problem with my dvd video but had it fixed . If you are looking for power and video functions this is the one . Many concerns with the multi room functions I havent had any so far . If you want to just buy an additional reciever that way your covered.
Summary: i'm sure this unit could be everything but i live in dallas tx and no center is qualified! i can't get the rear channels to come on and no one is able to help. i don't care how good equip is, your products no better than your service. h/k needs to have a better training program for serv centers so they are qualified, like bring them to home office service for crown.
Summary: This massive receiver has many features found in much, much more expensive components. First, the toroidal power transformer is extremely quiet and is found in the best components. The Farujda video processing makes a huge difference if you choose to sent video signals through the Receiver. The exclusive surround modes really add to my enjoyment of the music. Harman/Kardon is absolutely the BEST to work with as well!
Summary: I have owned several different receivers, but none that would compare with the 7300. Beyond excellent sound and more power than I would ever use the home theater sounds better than going to the movies and also upconverts your video signals to 1080I just an incredible machine. The only thing I dislike is it does not have a port for my turntable and no midrange adjustment, but that is pretty common these days.
