Summary: Installed this with little effort, connected quickly to our network (wireless) and have been listening to Internet Radio stations ever since. The iPhone app is also a nice feature to allow you to browse through different stations or play music from your iTunes collection.
Summary: Full Disclosure: I did not purchase this unit on Amazon. Got it cheaper on eBay, but I did purchase the speakers on Amazon(you can read my review on those as well). I have owned this system for two months now. If you want a CD player - this system is not for you.(I thought I still wanted it, I was wrong) If you want AM/FM radio - this system is not for you.
Summary: The Ceol Piccolo (model DRA-N5) receiver performs great and sounds fabulous. The receiver connects wirelessly to the Internet with ease and is ready within minutes. Although this is a fairly small receiver, it packs 65 watts per channel, which is perfect for a living room or home office. There are lots of features on the receiver, which allow connectivity to a USB device, iPhone and iPod.
Summary: The Denon music networking system is a fantastic product. It is very easy to set up. Just attach a pair of book shelf speakers. I used a pair of Bose speakers that I had on hand and the sound quality is really good. I think most audiophiles will be very pleased with the tone of this machine. The system has many features like how it can hook up to wireless internet so you may access thousands of internet radio stations as well as having an ipod dock.
Summary: This would be a great music package if it had some speakers included. I of course used my own Bose, but added speakers would be great. The wireless feature is convenient and it's a nice looking machine on my night stand.
Summary: I found this unit extremely easy to setup and get going. I tested the DLNA on 192/24 bit FLAC files and it performed flawlessly. The Internet Radio function worked well and it was easy to set favorite stations using the well designed remote control. The iPod dock worked without problems with a third gen iPod. One thing to note is that the dock is designed for the old style 30 pin connector. To use with the latest iPods you have to buy an adapter from Apple.
Summary: Small in size and big in sound is how I describe the Denon DRA-N5BK Desktop Networking Music System. This compact network receiver is a feature rich little wonder that is an absolute joy to use. Setup was easy and quick. I did not opt to use the matching speaker set, but when connected to a pair of JBL ES30B bookshelf speakers, the receiver really shines through with musical richness and clarity.
Summary: This system is much more than a step above something like the Logitech Squeezebox radio which I've used the past 3 years - although I wish the Denon would show Album Art as the Squeezebox does; it's a minor complaint and there's plenty of room on the display for it. At the present time I have a pair of Yamaha speakers attached to this (you can use any speakers similar in specs from 4 ohms to 16 ohms).
Summary: Denon DRA-N5BK Desktop Networking Music System was easily connected to my wi-fi, then I setup Pandora and all the channels are now available on the device. Excellent sound, using my Bose speakers. Now that I know it works great, going to get the subwoofer! I also stream music from the hard drive of my laptop and/or PC. Very nice sound, easy to use. Love this product! Highly recommended.
Summary: This thing is awesome. Main reason I bought it was to replace a 13 year old receiver I was using for a record player. Record player sounds great out of this thing, and also adds a ton of other uses I didn't have before. I'm a Sirius XM subscriber, so this is a very cool feature for me. Very easy to set up. Pandora is great too, and I was very surprised at how many local radio stations were available on the internet radio list. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
