Poor quality. I had high hopes for this receiver but it constantly let me down.

Summary: The Good: Excellent iOS and Android app. The Bad: Receiver kept randomly turning on in the middle of the night. Bluetooth losses connectivity and receiver has to be unplugged to get working again. Zone 2 is analong only. No AirPlay or Apple TV. Only the x3100 and above will do hdmi and optical in on zone 2 but they also cost $1000+ Wife acceptance factor was extremely low.
Summary: This was a great receiver for about 5 months. Then the front display went out, the bluetooth/wifi became shotty and I began to have to turn it off & on for it to recognize an input. Now I have to pay for shipping to get it fixed and it will be gone for several weeks.
Summary: Purchased from Best Buy only because time was short, and I didn't have time to wait for delivery, even with Prime. Same price, plus tax, unfortunately. Reason for purchase was an ailing 2.5 year-old Onkyo TX-NR616 which suddenly stopped outputting audio, losing Internet connection (either wired or wireless with Onkyo USB dongle), and "forgetting" settings overnight (reset as much as I could to get sound again, turned everything off and on several times to make sure it...
Excerpt: I've only had the unit for two months and have nothing but good things to say about B&H. Recently, the display quit working on mine and after talking to Denon and trying to troubleshoot, it has to go in for warranty repair. Just be aware that Denon refused to replace the unit, I have to box it up, pay for shipping and send it to the only Authorized repair in my state 300 miles away at my cost. Turns out it's just a TV repair service in Detroit with a 2 month backlog.
Summary: 7 channels, 2 subs, 2 zones and all those HDMI's - can't beat it for the price. A bit limited if you have some anaglog gear, but perfect for the playroom / secondary system where you don't want to spend $1k on a receiver. Good job Denon.
Summary: JUNK!!!!!!! Worst ar receiver I have ever owned. I have had and still have a YamAha, a Sony and a pioneer elite and all 3 combined haven't given me the trouble this denon junk has in 2weeks! Trust me....save the extra hundred or two bucks and buy yourself a real receiver. One more time....
Excerpt: Needed an upgrade from a cheap Sony. Could not beat the price with the power it has. Silly me, I purchased it and thought I was done. Ended up buying new set of speaker due to current one total input was 59w. This system provides up to 165w at each output. So seven speakers later, fir I already had powered subs, the system is now complete and my neighbors lost the sound war. They now when they are too loud , cause they hear mine crystal clear through the walls.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Power Output, Good Remote Control, Great Sound Quality
Summary: Since I've bought the product it wasn't working. I tested and I did all the things in the Denon's website support but it doesn't work. The issue is, after some minutes it just turn it off. It start to blink the green light when is turn it on and then it shut it down blinking in red. According to the support this is a kind of protection. But there is no issues regarding installation and is still blinking.
