Excerpt: This unit is being used in my living room to replace an old Pioneer unit that bit the dust. I basically turn it on, set the level, and leave it alone until I turn it off. Sounds great but one's speakers have a lot to do with that. I could not find anyway to make the Inputs on the receiver work.
Pros: Good Basic 52 Receiver, Good Power Output
Cons: Hdmi Ins Outs Useless, No Manual In The Box, Poor User's Manual
Works fine but installation is a pain for first-timers.

Summary: This is the first time ever that I'm using sound receiver. I had to buy this device to be able to use my new home's in-built speakers. In an era of touchscreens and tablets, this device as a whole is such an anachronism.

Summary: Really happy with my purchase I use it to play 2 15" boxes sounds amazing (RTR 1530)... Always streaming music with my note 3 ... Shake the house... Lol ...if the unit is off & you go paired devices on the phone & select demon, it turns on the unit...really kool feature... ENJOYING MY PURCHASE
Summary: Bought this for use with my TEAC TN-300 turntable and for it's Bluetooth support for iPhone playlists. I have it connected to a Boston Acoustics sub and speakers. Been using it for a little over a month and it works perfectly for this setup...
Not bad - but maybe spend a little more and get something better.

Summary: This is almost, but not quite as good as was hoping. First, the sound is great (I am in no way an authority on sound), the setup was easy, and it has more than enough input for all my devices. One i used the sound meter thing to balance out the sound, it was great.
Great as a low-powered, budget-oriented AVR if you have realistic expectations

Summary: This is a decent low-mid end receiver. For those expecting this to be a powerhouse loaded with options, I'm sorry, but you're simply looking at the wrong line of Denon receivers. I am not using this unit for any video capabilities whatsoever, just as a pure sound receiver.
Excerpt: Bought this receiver to replace an older unit that died. Just a basic surround system that didn't justify a greater expense. No problems with the sound, or quality of the unit. But it would be nice if these basic units would include a switched outlet for a sub woofer without having to spend hundreds...
Summary: Upgraded from a 10+ year old denon receiver. Love the brand but needed hdmi for my newly finished basement. Yes this is an entry level unit but the features and functionality are impressive. Denon quality all the way around.
Summary: Great sound (for the money!), Easy set up with included microphone for balancing even disparate speaker choices...Great price/performance selection. Best compliment... sounded better than the the Onkyo it replaced at half the money....
