Broke after 2 years of light use; won't buy Denon again
David N. Hollas, Amazon

Summary: Paid over $600 for this, my first real high-quality stereo equipment. Setup was easy. User interface is fairly simple, except some of the settings need to be translated out of techie language into English. Googling helped me understand the more difficult settings.
Very good unit with lots of features amazing sound

Summary: So far the stereo has performed well, it has lots of features that my previous sony did not have. The only issue I have its the hdmi connections are not tight and the cables need to be of very good quality or the monitor does not recognize the signal.
Summary: Nice receiver, good sound and lots of options. I bought it to use primarily for streaming music from my bluetooth phone/tablet and wifi. To get this to work, you need to hardware it to your computer via an Ethernet cable. Not what I wanted.
Summary: This bad boy had to be returned. There was lots to like: easy to set up, plenty of inputs including optical and analog audio inputs as well as hdmi. The superimposed info for adjusting sound parameters are good sized and clear and the adjustments a knob twisting dream.
I love Denon products and have been using them for years

Summary: I love Denon products and have been using them for years. The one major issue I have with this unit is if you are listening to something like internet music and then use a universal remote to watch (change it to) something on the television - the image will not appear.
First of all great service from Amazon and the vendor
19 October 2014
Summary: First of all great service from Amazon and the vendor. Receiver was easy to hook up and calibrate.sound is absolutely incredible no lie. no need for Wi-Fi because it plays music through my AppleTV easy breezy.
Summary: The automatic setup is easy. The only difficulty is that, if you hook it up 5.1, you have to attach the rear speakers to the surround outputs instead of to the rear speaker outputs. The Internet radio feature is fantastic!.
Summary: Good value for the features but with one problem: OVERHEATING regularly This is a 7.1 AV Receiver with all the major functions, great buy. Only problem I encounter is the over heating. I put the av receiver in a shelf in the corner of home theater without much air circulation.
Really a great addition and replacement for my Yamaha for home theatre
22 September 2014
Summary: Really a great addition and replacement for my Yamaha for home theatre. The OSD for speaker setup and calibration of surround sound was so easy my wife could have completed it. I use the second zone for the speakers on my back patio with plenty of amp.
Don't use SiriusXM app, unless you want to be totally frustrated.

Summary: As a receiver, I love this device. The sound is great, easy enough to setup and picture quality doesn't seem compromised. However... I hate the SiriusXM app. It's awful. I can't tell you how many times I've been listening and all of a sudden the thing starts changing channels on me.
