Summary: hey people out there , i'd would like to speak my mind about how well the people are and the person i share my first Ebay experience with !!! at first i was un-sure of the out come with e-bay would be and held my breath.... when first i thought of how the economy is , knowing that i had dream of owning a Denon and saved up bonus checks , birthday money and residual change from here and there for two year to do this..
Excerpt: This receiver has it all and then some. I won't even use a third of the capabilities. I replaced a Denon AVR-5700 which is 14 years old and still in fine condition. It just doesn't have HDMI. I worried that I wouldn't get as good sound in a newer unit, but I am very pleased. Removing all the gear to supplant HDMI switching on the old box made things much simpler. I am bi-amping my front speakers this time and I can really tell a difference mid-range and up.
Summary: Needed to upgrade my whole house system to HDMI components, this was the upgraded AVR to my 8 year old Denon AVR. Excellent price compared to what I paid 8 years ago, smaller foot print and easily switched out. I didn't compare other manufacturers as I've had Denon in my house systems since 1990. Well made product, excellent performance and compatible with all my components.
Summary: Firstly I would like to say, this receiver is amazing. I really have nothing bad to say about it. Denon really have packed all the goodies into this one with 9 powerfull and fully asignable channels, HDMI, 4 zones, Auto room setup with dual subwoofer outputs and even two remotes for multi room automation. Playing my favorite movies was hauntingly realistic and makes me want to watch them all all over again! (I have over 500 DVDs) In short Denon has a cracker receiver.
Summary: All I've done is take a look at it. So many things to buy & so little time, especially w/o money. If I won a "Lotto", I'd be hit by lightning first, then I'd think about it, if I were alive. To be truthful, I'd say buy a Denon If money we're available, Now, $1,000.00 dollars is a lot of bucks so, for now, the company is havin' to keep it on their shelves. So there ya go, someone send me the money & I'll buy one, OK?
Summary: I purchased the 4311 to replace my 3808 unit which does not support HDMI 1.4a (3D). The 4311 is very similar to the 3808 but adds 3D passthru, ARC (audio return channel), height/width amp/processing, pandora, & flicker. I noticed the web features are superior to the 3808, which were very unreliable. The pandora streaming has worked flawlessly evertime I have used it. All of the streaming features I access through my LAN either using a laptop or Android phone.
