Denon A/V Receivers are the best surround sound receivers ever made.

Summary: Denon receivers are in my opinion the best ever made. The surround sound is perfect, the set up is easy, and you cant argue with the set up mic. The 120 Watt rating is very conservative, I have yet to run out of volume. This is the second Denon I have owned.
Summary: Great receiver for the $$ these days. Lots of specs and options with a nice power plant. Read the manual very carefully and setup is easier with a tv hooked up to it. When paired up with Denon DVD player via Denon Link there is no better sound, period.
Summary: The Denon 3806 avr has awesome sound and specifications.I got an extremely good price on ebay for a very nice used receiver. My only real complaint is a very complicated manual and remote. There are some very nice features, however bringing them up takes an advanced degree in engineering.
Summary: These Denons are unmatched. Built in Japan and cool running without the need for noisy fans. May not be for home theater novices who seem to be complaining but Denon tech support is actually great. I called twice got knowledgeable American people and was very happy to deal with them.
Summary: The AVR-3806 I got on-line was almost in mint condition. I had a Blu-Ray player that already decoded True Dolby HD and DTS-MA/HD. I pass the audio to the receiver via PCM and it works great! I get the full 7.1 experience.
Summary: Despite reading many negative reviews, I purchased this receiver for the sound quality. I had no problem setting up the unit to work with my TV, HD DVD player, PlayStation 3, or any other device. The sound quality is unbeatable, and I am thoroughly satisfied!
Summary: Receiver is awesome! Sounds great! Looks great! Highly recommended. Only drawback is the remote is not as great as it could be... still going to have to buy a universal remote, but oh well. Receiver rocks!
