Summary: I bought this AV receiver to be the centerpiece to my multi-room theater system. I am utilizing all 3 zones but have relied on external amplification for all zones with the exception zone 2. The reason for external amplification is that they are more capable at powering the speakers that I have chosen. I don't expect that many people would need to go this route, however it's great that the amplifier allows for external amplifiers through RCA pre-outs if needed.
Summary: I've had Denon equipment before (AVP 5000) and while the sound is very good it is still a bit short of perfect, the 5000 was just a hair better and more accurate. The power amp section doesn't seem to have the punch and clarity of the POA 5000 (rated at 100w / ch) even though it is supposed to have higher power amplification. The upscaling doesn't appear to make any significant difference on 480 sources (don't have a 4K tv so can't speak to that part of the upscaling).
Great receiver, Except the one I got probably has some faulty networking

Summary: Could have returned it if I had hooked it up and identified the issue in the 30 days :( Sometimes the receiver would not connect.. I mean its like the NIC card is disabled. generally a cold boot (Unplug from mains) does the trick.
Summary: I bought this primarily for the multi-zone HDMI matrix switching functionality. I am setting up a home theater room that i want to be the master control for a few HDMI sources split into a few different rooms in my house. Limitations: Any time a monitor hooked up to the HDMI output is powered on all connected sources seem to re-initialize the HDMI connection and is usually seen in a 2-3 second flash of no picture.
Still performs like a high-end Denon, but disappointed with build quality

Summary: This receiver was the replacement of my 3805, which I loved very much and used it for 8 years. The 3805 didn't have HDMI support and therefore it was time for an upgrade. The 3313CI was the obvious choice as it is the modern day replacement of the 3805. I was surprised to see that the 3313CI was made in China and it shows (3805 was made in Japan which had immaculate build quality).
Summary: Top Receiver.
