I enjoy the sound from my Denon

Stuart M Brock, Amazon
17 November 2014
  • Summary: I enjoy the sound from my Denon, and I haven't had any issues with it. The only think I wish is that zone two and three had their own dedicated speaker terminals.

Good performance with plenty of great features

Hijumper, Amazon
4 November 2013
  • Summary: I bought this AV receiver to be the centerpiece to my multi-room theater system. I am utilizing all 3 zones but have relied on external amplification for all zones with the exception zone 2.

Great receiver for the price

Verma Jaeger, Amazon
27 October 2013
  • Summary: I've had Denon equipment before (AVP 5000) and while the sound is very good it is still a bit short of perfect, the 5000 was just a hair better and more accurate. The power amp section doesn't seem to have the punch and clarity of the POA 5000 (rated at 100w / ch) even though it is supposed to have...

Denon AVR 3313CI

Anonymous, Crutchfield
27 September 2013
  • Summary: This receiver is much easier to use than our previous Denon AVR 1910. It provides more power and clearer sound. The setup and remote are also much more user friendly - All of the setup is done on your tv screen and it is easy to identify sound problems during the setup process.

  • Summary: Very nice receiver. I haven't fully explored it's uses, as yet. It can be hard to turn off because of it's automated features.

Great sound and features, not perfect

Chrismo, Crutchfield
11 August 2013
  • Summary: Yes, I probably want it all. Lots of reviews here that I agree with. I did get a buggy unit (picture cutting out and very loose power cord) that I ended up bricking after a failed firmware update. Exchanged easily with Crutchfield and was ready for round 2.
  • Pros: Huge sound upgrade over 10-year old Yamaha, excellent picture and switching with HDMI, AirPlay works well, Pandora working now, Zone 2 control, free decent Apple Remote app for graphically choosing music on iPad or iPhone, updated Denon remote app does more and had good zone controls, easy set-up...
  • Cons: Had to return buggy first unit (but Crutchfield service is a pro), iPod Classic control very sluggish, No digital sources other than main zone even when Zone 2 is mirroring the main zone, no music modes that omit center speaker, loose power cord, USB only in front but don't want to clutter front ...

Sonic Awesomeness

Hardisk, Crutchfield
6 August 2013
  • Summary: I've been a Denon fan for a LONG time. From my first cassette deck, to my first CD player, there has always been at least one Denon device in my home. So, when shopping for a new AV receiver for my Home Theater I didn't have to look very far.
  • Pros: 4K Video, Sirius XM, HD radio, iPhone control App
  • Cons: Terrible GUI (Graphic User Interface)

Denon receiver fits the bill

Bill B, Crutchfield
2 August 2013
  • Summary: This receiver has three zones for separate programs. So far I have connected two of them and they work as advertised. Surround sound with my smart tv is especially good. Telephone support was excellent
  • Pros: Self balancing surround sound
  • Cons: Complex. You have to think as you enable various components.

Just what I needed

Billy, Crutchfield
1 August 2013
  • Summary: Great receiver. The only issue that I have is with the AirPlay. I'm having to bridge my wireless connection to give the receiver a wired connection which sometimes causes issues. I know it's a bandwidth issue, but kinda sucks. I wish it were wireless.
  • Pros: Lots of connections (inputs) and 3 zone outputs.
  • Cons: Can't put all zones on for all speakers at once and isn't wireless. No dealbreakers though.
