Summary: Used with B&W 604-S2 Front speakers, Polk CSI-6A Center, and REL Q150E Sub. Listen to Music in 2.1 Stereo mode and TV/Movies with 3.1 Cinema mode, both with Audyssey active. Sound only decent with Audyssey active. Sound disappointing in Stereo Direct Mode.
Pros: Good HD/FM/AM Tuner. Audyssey setup was easy and its sound settings made for clear dialog. Nice spatial sound even in Stereo with Audyssey active. Good mid and upper frequency range without being harsh sounding. Audyssey enriches mid to lower bass frequencies too. So Audyssey processing was quite...
Cons: Runs much too hot at all volume levels, limiting placement. Sound is only decent with Audyssey active, though voices can be a bit hollow sounding in Cinema Modes.Easy to get caught in firmware update loop, if Ethernet cable not "directly connected" to cable modem. Very confusing manual. Remote an...
Summary: I liked the sound of this receiver when it worked...the operative word is 'when'. It kept cutting out and video would break up. I worked with tech support but was never able to resolve the issue. I got so frustrated I returned it.
Pros: nice sound when it works
Cons: Too many problems; home theater shouldn't be this hard!
Summary: This was my third Denon AVR, last one was bought 10 years ago a top of the line Denon bought in 2003 for $ 800, I decided to renew them with the 3313 unit. Unfortunatelly the Quality of the sound and the power was downgraded a lot in the last 10 years, same money do not bought same quality.
Summary: In short, its' most consistent feature is its continued inconsistency. I bought this as a centerpiece to my Klipsch Left/Right, Polk Center, and Polk subwoofer. Besides being insanely non-intuitive to setup, with way too many options and menus, in the end, this unit is an expensive Duck.
Pros: - Honestly, none
Cons: - Inconsistent behavior - large, bulky, weighty - apparently underpowered and/or inefficient - does nothing well - AirPlay will not work - Single remote control will not work - Terrible as a basic FM radio - Terrible non-intuitive menus and settings - Terrible documentation and as PDF, even worse...
Summary: I was very excited about this receiver. This is my first home system, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I loved it at first. Now, I am frustrated with it. I had to download an upgrade to get Pandora to work. This receiver is buggy.
Summary: Where to start...I compared the Denon line up to the Marantz line up for some time before making my decision to go with this unit. On paper it seemed like you where getting more for your money. And as both brands are essentially identical (chip sets for DAC, DSP, etc.
Pros: video quality, ease of use, good looks
Cons: almost everything else, sound quality, build quality. Denon and Marantz need to step up the build quality, which has taken a huge turn for the worse since moving assembly to China.
Summary: This is a very good receiver, if you do not plan on using the FM Tuner in the 96-101MHz area. I have tried two of these units and both will "cut-out", no sound output for a second, after about 10 minutes of playing. That ruins a lot of great music!
Pros: Terric sound, just do not use as an FM receiver, you will be disappointed..
Cons: It's too bad Denon released this unit with defective FM circiutry. I will NEVER purchase another of their products.
Summary: Ich wollte meinen alten RX-V 1600 gegen diesen Denon ersetzen.
