Very nice unit

  • Summary: Returned a Yamaha RX-V673 in order to buy this one instead. It was > 2Xs the price, but has the Pre-Outs for all channels. If you do not need pre-outs, I would opt for the Yamaha for the price. Denon makes a good system, but you have to pay for it.

Movie Theater sound!!

Timothy Williams, Amazon

  • Summary: This unit is awesome! I am using Polk Audio Satellites with a 10in subwoofer. I have heard a few people complain about the remote control but honestly I don't know what else it could do. It does everything needed unless they prefer a LCD screen remote. It is not the easiest to set up.It takes a few trial and error speaker adjustments to get that sound you may like.

Good performance with plenty of great features

  • Summary: I bought this AV receiver to be the centerpiece to my multi-room theater system. I am utilizing all 3 zones but have relied on external amplification for all zones with the exception zone 2. The reason for external amplification is that they are more capable at powering the speakers that I have chosen. I don't expect that many people would need to go this route, however it's great that the amplifier allows for external amplifiers through RCA pre-outs if needed.

Great receiver for the price

Verma Jaeger, Amazon

  • Summary: I've had Denon equipment before (AVP 5000) and while the sound is very good it is still a bit short of perfect, the 5000 was just a hair better and more accurate. The power amp section doesn't seem to have the punch and clarity of the POA 5000 (rated at 100w / ch) even though it is supposed to have higher power amplification. The upscaling doesn't appear to make any significant difference on 480 sources (don't have a 4K tv so can't speak to that part of the upscaling).

Denon AVR-3313CI Networking Home Theater Receiver

George Chryssanthou, Amazon
2 October 2013
  • Summary: I always buy Denon. The reason is that they have a phono input something you don't find in others. The sound is excellent the audissy helps a lot to set it up. And the model was discounted because they have a new one. Who cares.

  • Summary: Very nice receiver. I haven't fully explored it's uses, as yet. It can be hard to turn off because of it's automated features.

  • Summary: Installation was easy and it works great with my Samsung PN64E7000 TV and Samsung BluRay player. Would love to be able to upgrade to Denon BluRay player model that works with this through Denon Link.

Good sound, Loaded with features, but a little quirky

Lake4work, Amazon

  • Summary: I know relatively little about receivers and can't help with the technical aspects of this receiver. It took me several weeks to really learn how to use it,and once I did I was very pleased with my 7.2 system. However, my main complaint, is that in order to use the "anynet" feature, which is very handy as it turns everything on with one selection (ie bluray player), but when you do have this feature activated on your TV everytime you turn the receiver on just to watch...
