Summary: I purchased the AVR-3312CI in June 2012. Tomorrow I am sending it to a repair facility for the second time. Two trips to the repair shop in the first five months of ownership is certainly not what I expected when buying a Denon. The first repair was after one week of use when the entire right channel developed a hum/hiss sound. Today I was watching a TV show from my AppleTV when the unit suddenly powered off.
Summary: MY Denon AVR-3312CI has many troubles. The HDMI card is defective and after many weeks they can't get a HDMI board thay are so back ordered. The Denon 3312CI also freezes all the time and requires that you unplug the unit and plug it back in again. The USB / Network setting also freezes as the unit get overloaded with data. This Denon 3312CI to me is not the quality I'm used to with Denon products.
Pros: Sounds good when it works, many features
Cons: HDMI boards defective, unit freezes, hard reboots required all the time, USB / Network freezes
Summary: While Denon does have a prominent name in the industry, I find that this product is difficult to program and the step by step instruction are not clear. I wish it would of been easier as scrolling in the menus does not provide me with a quick step for control. The sound quality is not as great as expected and I am driving high end Totem speakers!
Summary: Sounds great when its working. Some of the HDMI ports dont work on it and therefore are useless. The interface software for the USB hookup is hard to use and takes a while to respond. Denon is a great brand but this particular reciever has alot of flaws to it. Beware buyer!
Summary: For the first two weeks I thought the Denon AVR3312ci was a great upgrade from my 3 year old Marantz SR7002. Sound quality was very good and the extra power was impressive. The speaker setup (Mythos One mains, Mythos Eight center, Supercube II sub, Mythos Four surrounds, and Mythos Six rears) went well but the manual is very confusing when it comes to manually selecting different sound schemes (e.g.
Summary: I just had my Denon 3312CI installed and I had zone 2 patio speakers installed along with zone 3 speakers installed in our great room. To run zone 2 and and zone 3, you must config both zones as mono. I am very disappointed as none of the descriptions on Amazon, Denon's site or owner's manual indicate mono with powered zones 2/3 installed/configured. You won't find this out until you are in onscreen set-up for zone 2 and zone 3.
Summary: Ich habe den DENON 3312 nun ca. 4 Monate.
