Summary: Have had this receiver for about a year. It now is starting to cut in and out when watching TV. It will blank out for a few seconds, then reset itself. It may go through this cycle many times before is stays on. Not recommended.
Summary: Check AVSForum and other online sources before buying this receiver. Way too many owners are experiencing "network" problems requiring replacement of the HDMI board (for some reason, the networking is on the HDMI board) and they now have a shortage of the boards with repairs running up to 8 weeks. My receiver has slowly been going south, with feature after feature now failing to work at all: - Can't correctly save settings though the web interface.
Denon AVR-3311CI network card failed after 3 months
8 February 2011
Summary: Well, this is a great unit when it works. BUT, the network card failed after 3 months. I paid an extra premium price for the network receiver but the network only last 3 months and now I have to pay more to ship it back to New Jersey. Hmm...I wonder about the quality of the Denon products now.
Summary: If you spend some time reading AVSForums you'll learn that last years model (the 3310) was plagued with dead networking cards. It appears that nothing has changed with there year's model. I ordered the 3311 from 6th Ave and they were quick to ship with a good price but after hooking it up I realized my network card was busted.
