Summary: THIS RECIEVER IS AWESOME IT IS PACKED WITH FEATURES AND REALLY HAS A CLEAR CLEAN SOUND...THE OWNERS MANUAL IS A LITTLE INTIMIDATING BUT IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT STEREOS YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM AND I READ OTHER REVIEWS AND I HAVENT HAD 1 ISSUE LIKE ANYONE ELSE..
Summary: I, as well as many others have had problems with the network connectivity completely crashing. I bought this unit so I could store music on my computer and stream to the Denon. The network card has crashed and will NOT connect to my music server. I have had some great Denon equipment in the past but this is a POS to be avoided at all costs.
Summary: I read the various reviews and I can only say is after more than 2 years this has been the best receiver I've owned. Great amp power, no problems, lost of inputs and features, still plays DVD and Blu-Ray audio perfectly. The back in out connections and speaker connects are good, and it was about as easy to get it all wired as could be expected.
Summary: Great AVR! I replaced an Denon AVR5500, (about 3 times the price), that was about 12 years old...and this new one is far more technologically superior. I loe all the HDMI Ports. Excellent Audio/Video Receiver if you reallywant the best possible sound from all your components. Highly recommended!
Summary: I purchased this receiver to replace an older, high end, Onkyo receiver. I wanted to upgrade mainly for the ability to use digital video switching; the Onkyo only supported component and did not have any HDMI or up-conversion support. I have been a fan of Denon products for a long time now. I used to sell them as an employee of a high end electronics retailer and was fairly certain I would settle on a Denon receiver.
Summary: A challenge when you first start to install. Probably because of the instructions written to accomodate many possible connection alternatives. Once past the learning stage of how to use the manual everything went smoothly. Its all excellent but the Audessy system that allows maximizing sound quality to your room was amazing. Probably saved me big bucks. My 8 year Prardigm speakers fully realized their potential and it was a wow experience.
Summary: Great! This receiver is four generation removed from our last one and it is wonderful. There is a learning curve on how to use all of the features. The manual provided is adequate but not very user friendly. Once you figure out how to find information then it is helpful on accomplishing your desired operation. I have had the receiver for over two weeks and I still have a lot to learn.
Summary: I'll keep it short and sweet, This receiver is so much easier to use and set up over my Onkyo that I had someone kick me for not buying this in the first place. You can make all adjustments on the fly, the sound is better, remote is better, back pannel is set up better, every thing is better! Fantastic price too!!! I'll probably have someone kick me again too. Don't miss out on this too good to be true offer!!!
Summary: I had an AVR3200 that I bought about 13 years ago. I loved it then and I still love it today. But alas, HDMI didn't exist 13 years ago and I needed a new receiver to match up with my PS3 and Samsung LED TV. I didn't even consider another brand, that's how much I loved my original AVR3200. My brother works in the custom home theater industry so I called him to ask him about this AVR3310CI. He said that for the price Amazon had it listed, it was a steal.
Summary: This is my 2nd Denon receiver, the 1st of which is still working just fine after 9 years -- justed need to upgrade to HDMI. Set-up was very easy -- almost suprisingly so -- I'm running all HDMI -- connected an LG blu ray player, a Direct TV HD DVR box, and an LG plasma tv -- no problems whatsoever. No lipsyncing issues, no missing sound, etc, everything works as it should.
