Summary: THIS RECIEVER IS AWESOME IT IS PACKED WITH FEATURES AND REALLY HAS A CLEAR CLEAN SOUND...THE OWNERS MANUAL IS A LITTLE INTIMIDATING BUT IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT STEREOS YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM AND I READ OTHER REVIEWS AND I HAVENT HAD 1 ISSUE LIKE ANYONE ELSE..
Summary: I, as well as many others have had problems with the network connectivity completely crashing. I bought this unit so I could store music on my computer and stream to the Denon. The network card has crashed and will NOT connect to my music server.
Summary: I read the various reviews and I can only say is after more than 2 years this has been the best receiver I've owned. Great amp power, no problems, lost of inputs and features, still plays DVD and Blu-Ray audio perfectly.
Summary: Great AVR! I replaced an Denon AVR5500, (about 3 times the price), that was about 12 years old...and this new one is far more technologically superior. I loe all the HDMI Ports. Excellent Audio/Video Receiver if you reallywant the best possible sound from all your components. Highly recommended!
Summary: I purchased this receiver to replace an older, high end, Onkyo receiver. I wanted to upgrade mainly for the ability to use digital video switching; the Onkyo only supported component and did not have any HDMI or up-conversion support. I have been a fan of Denon products for a long time now.
Summary: A challenge when you first start to install. Probably because of the instructions written to accomodate many possible connection alternatives. Once past the learning stage of how to use the manual everything went smoothly.
Summary: Great! This receiver is four generation removed from our last one and it is wonderful. There is a learning curve on how to use all of the features. The manual provided is adequate but not very user friendly.
Summary: I'll keep it short and sweet, This receiver is so much easier to use and set up over my Onkyo that I had someone kick me for not buying this in the first place. You can make all adjustments on the fly, the sound is better, remote is better, back pannel is set up better, every thing is better!
Summary: I had an AVR3200 that I bought about 13 years ago. I loved it then and I still love it today. But alas, HDMI didn't exist 13 years ago and I needed a new receiver to match up with my PS3 and Samsung LED TV. I didn't even consider another brand, that's how much I loved my original AVR3200.
