This unit doesn't need specs; you just have to listen to it to believe.

Summary: This is an awesome receiver. The sound quality makes the cheaper units sound like transistor radios. Although it lacks the newer features like HDMI inputs, its Japanese components make this a great addition for mixing newer components with it for great sound quality. I am looking to purchase another one for my bedroom in the near future. It helps if you can purchase one with a remote control that works; these run around $100 used.
Summary: The unit was purchased as a backup/secondary system but I'm not satisfied with my Denon AVR-3300 purchase. The surround, center and subwoofer audio channels don't work. Hopefully the warranty contract that I also purchased will be able to correct the audio channel problems and I will get value for the money that I paid for the item.
Summary: The surround sound quality and set up features are superb for the price of the unit. Its easy to use, despite the user manual which gives typical examples of how to set up your equipment, but not enough, and it doesn't explain what everything does. Otherwise the surround sound quality is much superior to the Technics or Sony models and I would highly recommend it.
Pros: More connections than you would ever need and great surround sound
Summary: I needed item so my older Denon AVR amplifier could be given to son-in-law as a gift. I have had excellent service from Denon products. The item purchased on e-bay performs excellently and has additional video features my older one lacked.
Summary: Even though this is an older model Denon AVR 3300 Amp/Tuner, it is working very well for my living room 5.1 needs. This is my first Denon and I feel lucky to own it and I am very happey with it's options, power and sound!
Summary: I've had my Denon AVR-3300 for several years now. Denon considers it a "legacy" product and doesn't actively support the unit but, hey, I've had no need to contact Denon for aftercare because this beauty has been ABSOLUTELY ROCK solid. My AVR-3300 has seen all the other components in my HT system get turned over during its tenure, simply because I've never considered replacing the receiver. It process DTS, DD and other source signals with absolutely flawless clarity.
