Summary: I have been a long time Denon component buyer with no disappointments, and this receiver delivers again. I upgraded from an old 2800 series. This receiver has feature that should be in the high end range and not the mid teir price range. I combined this with a Denon Ipod dock and my flat panel.
Summary: I usualy used sony receiver, but I read a review of this unit ,I saw one and on a friend house and sound amacing. I found a new sealed on Ebay the price was right and i made and offer that was acepted. I used with a Panasonic dvd, sony multiple cd, digita satellite and a 62 inch toshiba tv.
Summary: Outstanding receiver, worth every penny spent. This unit was well taken care of and only offered for sale because the owner updated to a newer version. I paid a little more for this receiver based on that fact, however what and a 5* AVR from a 5* seller.
Summary: While I am not an experienced audiofile, I have been extremely impressed with this product. The sound is better than any I have ever experienced, and coupled with my KEF 3000 speaker system, I am in heaven.
Summary: Now hear this!! There are vast differences between these two values and how they are interpreted by a given user. No two ears hear the same, none are are equal and the music reproduction that results from a given technology is just as diverse.
Summary: I recently purchased the 2807 to replace an Onkyo TX-DS777 that I have had for several years. I am extremely pleased with the 2807. I had very little difficulty in setting up the unit, and the automatic room calibration system worked like a charm.
Summary: The good: Really terrific sound. The bad: Setup a little difficult, Denon support is the worst. This is a complicated receiver and the manual is not great. Once everything is connected, the learning curve it long.
Summary: I love this reciever!!! The HDMI switching work like a charm and allows me to hook up additional pieces using only one output to the tv!!! This makes things much easier for my whole family to enjoy!!! With the auto setup, getting the correct balance of sound was a snap!!!!
