Tweet Introduction With over a five thousand dollar range from the entry level AVR-588 to the top of the line AVR-5308CI, Denon offers a receiver to fill just about every budget and need. While not necessarily inexpensive at $649, the Denon AVR-1909 can be considered a deal in comparison to the $5500price tag of their top offering. Read more

This stereo receiver replaced an older Sony unit, while it takes a while longer to setup the unit performs beyond my expectation. Anyone purchasing this unit, set aside some time, read the manual and enjoy the fantastic sound. Read more

My first Denon as well as my first purchase from J&R. I made my order on the phone and it was easy and the person I talked to was incredibly friendly. The system is amazing, lots of power, beautiful design, and enough inputs to satisty analog, digital and HDMI connections. I currently have my xbox360, ps3 and dvr input through hdmi, with the output to the tv. Works like a charm with beautiful sound and quality. Read more

It is feature rich system with a 7.1 ability or a 2 zone 5.1/2 ability. The first thing I noticed when I set it up with a pain of my old speakers is that with no set up the sound was as crisp, clear, and controlled without even being set up correctly. Read more

I bought two Ipod docks by Denon which didn't work and my reciever kept shutting down. Have you ever tried to set this thing up? You need to be a rocket surgeon to do so. There are many other user friendly units out there that actually work. I switched to Harman Kardon, I would suggest you go elsewhere too. Read more
