Summary: I purchased this item four years ago and I have not had any issues at all. I paid $280 back then and I don't regret it at all. It works perfectly just as it did the first day I bought it. I have hooked it up to Sony speakers, DVR, DVD player with great results. It thumps the bass which I like.

Summary: This receiver has added a new dimension to our home entertainment system. But you practically need an engineering degree to understand the owner's manual. Summary: When my old home theater receiver died, I looked around at the reviews and this Denon looked good. I was not disappointed at all. It slid right in the cabinet and hooked right up where the other one was.
Summary: I have had this receiver for about 2 years. I only had it on when I was watching a blu ray movie or certain shows. I did not leave it on all the time. I enjoyed the microphone speaker calibration and features that it offers for the price.
Summary: I have had mine for over a year and it works perfect. Inputs are assignable so we run DVD, SAT, WII and X-Box through it. Made my old speakers sound much better. Set up is a bit difficult but the final results are worth it. Limited bells and whistles though.

Summary: I bought a AVR-1611 a year ago and use it with Energy Take Five Classic speakers, a Samsung 3D BluRay player and a very good Panasonic 42" 1080P Plasma TV. What an awesome system. My wife and I go upstairs once a week for our in-house "night at the movies" to watch and listen to this system - we can...
